Osteopathy is a way of detecting and treating damaged parts of the body such as muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints. These could lead to knee problems and pains, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pains and could be caused by sports injuries, work related injuries, arthritis or just a bad posture.

When the body is balanced and efficient, just like a well tuned engine, it will function with the minimum of wear and tear, leaving more energy for living.

Expert Advice

Jon McSwiney is a registered osteopath with more than 14 years experience who also teaches in this field. He provides consultancy to businesses on work environment and ergonomics.

Kate Lockwood is a registered osteopath who specialises in advise and treatment for horse and rider and is currently involved in a Masters in animal osteopathy.

Treatment

Our initial consultation takes up to one hour where we explain what you can expect, take a detailed case history followed by a full examinations. If we feel it is safe to do so we will start treatment on your first visit. Both consultation and follow up treatments are charged at £40. All Major insurance companies accepted.
