I work closely with our team of five osteopaths and Anne Simonsen our Pilates instructor to provide the best osteopathic care and a rehabilitation pathway so that patients can quickly and effectively regain their full potential. My area of special interest is the treatment of babies using a gentle form of Osteopathy called Cranial Osteopathy. I have found it to be most effective for the treatment of conditions such as glue ear and sleep disturbance. I also specialise in antenatal and postnatal osteopathic care for mothers. I help the mother adapt to their changing posture during pregnancy with the often inevitable back pain and also help them to recover after the birth in helping their bodies adapt to the change in demands with looking after a young baby. I am currently training for a half marathon so I have full sympathy for anyone suffering from sports injuries or the frustration of lack of training due to the weather! |
