About the BOA
The British Osteopathic Association, through its Executive and its elected Council, represents the views of members to the General Osteopathic Council, the Department of Health, local and national government agencies and other professional bodies. We use mailings, our annual convention and our monthly magazine, Osteopathy Today, to obtain members’ opinions on osteopathic and business issues. We believe our stand-alone independence is vital in carrying out our representational role and we conduct our business on the basis of openness and transparency. We exist to protect and further the interests of our member osteopaths.
The Council and staff are here to help, support, care for, protect and advise you whatever the problem. We will fight your corner through complaints and disciplinary hearings – we are your friend in time of need.
